There are no likes, follower counts, public profiles or rankings. Participation is social because people contribute, encounter and carry stories forward — not because they compete for attention.
Different lives, shared humanity
The project brings together ordinary moments, grief, belonging, fear, tenderness and the things we never said. Each contribution remains individual, while gradually forming a wider portrait of human experience.
Real material
Afterimage is made from photographs people took, voices people recorded and words people chose. The emotional foreground remains human.
